The Rotary Club of Haverford Township was chartered in December 1981. It was the first breakfast club in District 7450, and was composed of people new to Rotary and also members of nearby existing clubs, mainly the Rotary Club of Havertown, which was our parent club.
As of July 2000, there are 42 members (9 women and 33 men). Of the 19 people who have formerly served as presidents of the club, 16 are still active members, providing valuable experience and continuity.
The charitable activities that we support are funded primarily through the sale of long-stemmed roses by our members on or about the 2nd Thursday of November each year.
